Morigaon College, established in 1964, is a prominent educational institution in Assam, India. The college is committed to providing quality education and supporting students' career development through its Career Guidance and Placement Cell.

Career Guidance and Placement Cell

The College has a dedicated Career Guidance and Placement Cell that regularly organizes programs to assist students in making informed career choices. The Faculty-in-Charge coordinates these activities and often invites external resource persons to provide expert guidance. The Cell also organises various lecture programmes, coaching programmes on civil services, TET examinations and other undertakings. The activities of the cell can be summarised as:

• Career Counseling: Providing personalized guidance to help students identify suitable career paths based on their interests and skills.

• Skill Development: Organizing workshops and training sessions to enhance professional skills, including resume writing, interview preparation, and communication.

• Industry Interaction: Facilitating interactions with industry professionals and organizing job fairs to connect students with potential employers.

• Higher Education Guidance: Assisting students in exploring opportunities for further studies and preparing for competitive exams.
